Importing iCalendar Files

iCalendar files (.ics) allow users to send appointment requests via email. If you are not using Outlook Sync, you can import iCalendar files directly into Abacus.

1. Save the iCalendar file (.ics) attached to the email to your hard drive.

2. Select File > Utilities > Import > iCalendar file. The Import iCalendar/vCalendar file window appears.
   
   

3. Click Select File. The Select a file to import from window appears. Find the iCalendar file (.ics) you want to import, highlight it, and click Open.

4. Under Assign to each event, enter the Who code, Name, and Matter you want to assign to the imported event(s).

5. Click Done.

6. The Linked Browse window appears listing the event you imported. Click Done to verify.
