Associating a Picture with a Matter

You can associate a picture with any matter. For example, you could associate an image of a real estate property with its matter record. Pictures associated with matters appear in the Picture Window when the matter is opened in the Matter window.

1. Save the picture in a bitmap (.bmp) or JPEG (.jpg) format.

2. Name the image with the File/case# of the matter. For example, if the case number is RE-1234, then name the picture RE-1234.bmp or RE-1234.jpg.

3. Move the image to the Pictures subdirectory where the program files are stored. By default, this will be Abacus\Pictures\Matters.
