Activating PayNow for Your Firm

When Abacus Payment Exchange (APX) is active for your firm, PayNow can also be activated.

  1. Select File > Setup > Company Preferences.

  2. The Company Preferences window appears. Select the Payment Setup tab.

  3. Ensure that a default Operating Deposit Account and default Trust Deposit Account are selected. These are the accounts that will be used to deposit any PayNow payments.



    To set up an account, click the Add button for the account. The APX Add Account window opens. Enter the account details and click SUBMIT.



     

  4. In the PayNow section, check Include PayNow request with emailed invoice.

  5. Click Done to save your changes.
