Installing PALS

NOTE: A PALS installation will overwrite any customizations of previously installed PALS.

1. From the main Abacus window, select File > Setup > Practice Packs > Install. The BackUp files window appears.

2. Select Yes. When the backup is finished, the Select Practice Pack window appears.
   
   

3. Click Practice Pack File. The Select Practice Pack window appears.

4. Select the PALS you want to install (select a file with a .PPZ extension) and click Open. The Select Practice Pack window reappears with the PALS now selected.

5. In the Code box, enter the PALS license code if the PAS is licensed. PALS should have an accompanying text file that states whether the PALS is licensed. NOTE: PALS codes are specific to each firm and cannot be used by a different firm.

6. Click Done and the PALS will install.
