Importing Notes Data

To import notes, you need to create a CSV file that contains the note source data. The CSV file must not contain a header row and the field order must match your Abacus cross reference tables (for example, When, Time, Duration, ID CaseNum, Operator, Type, and Note).

Then, to import the note data into Abacus, follow these steps:

1. Select File > Utilities > Import > Notes. The Notes Import window appears.
   
   

2. For Source file, select the notes CSV file.

3. If you like, you can assign the same note type for all the notes you are importing by selecting a note type for the Note Type field.

4. Click Done to save your changes.
