Overview of Names

Names are those people with whom your firm has contact: Clients, prospects, opposing parties, judges, attorneys, expert witnesses, vendors, friends, relatives and so on. In Abacus, you can keep track of all your names, and using notes, you can keep track of your interactions with names.

Most tasks for names are performed from the Name window.

For names, you can:

• Browse for names and view name information

• Add names

• Associate a picture with a name

• Edit names

• Delete names

• Index (sort) names

• Find names

• Print names

• Send email to selected names

• Create letters for names

• Export name data to other programs

• Show maps for names
