Including Company Name with Outlook Sync

You can add a company field to your AbacusLaw name records so if a name record has a company name in the company field, it will sync over to the company field in the Outlook contact record.

If you have created a contact for your company, you can include your company name in the Outlook synchronization by adding the field “Company” to the database structure of AbacusLaw. Once added, company name is automatically included in the synchronization.

  1. Select File > Setup > Database structures. The Data Structures for Names window appears.

  2. Click Add. The Add Field to Database window appears.

  3. In the Field Name, Display Name, and Description fields, enter Company.

  4. Set Field Length to 45.

  5. Click Done.

  6. Click Done. The Pending Changes Exist window appears.

  7. Click Execute changes and create new databases.
