Lookup Button

You will find the lookup button () throughout Abacus. This feature eliminates human typing error and lets you enter long entries quickly.

When the lookup button is next to a text field, you can click it (or press F9 or press Alt+Down Arrow) to open a popup window with a list of options relevant to the field. For example if you clicked the lookup button next to the Who box, you would get a window called Valid WHO Entries that listed all the Who codes in Abacus.

When the lookup button is used for a date field, the popup calendar appears.
