Overview of Work Groups

You can schedule an event for a work group and have the event show up on all the member's calendars.

Work group scheduling can make scheduling tasks easier. You place people in groups and then schedule the groups instead of the individuals. For example, if John and Belinda are in group *LIT (work groups always start with an asterisk) and you calendar a DEPO for *LIT, when both John and Belinda look at their schedule they will see the scheduled DEPO event.

The great part is, if John leaves the firm, just delete him from the work group. Add any other people to *LIT, and all events for that group will automatically show up on those people's calendars!

You can manage work groups from the Work Groups window. To open the window, select File > Setup > Work Groups.
