Adding Documents to AbacusLaw Using the Save and Log to Abacus Macro for Word

After installing the Save and Log to Abacus macro, use it to add a Word document to a record in AbacusLaw.

  1. With a document open in Word, do one of the following:

    1. Click File > Add-ins > Save and Log to Abacus.

    2. Click the Save and Log to Abacus Quick Access toolbar button.

  2. If AbacusLaw is not running, it will start.

  3. The Document Detail window appears. Complete the window for the document. Be sure to enter a name and matter to link to the document.

  4. Click Done. The document record is linked to the name and/or matter.
