Overview of Applying Queries

You can apply a query to a list of records from any window with the Query button.

Here is an example of the Query button. Notice how the selected query being used is listed to the right of the button.

Following are the ways you can query for records using the Query button on many windows in AbacusLaw.

• Use the Query Manager to apply an existing query or to create/modify one on the fly.

• Use Quick Query for a simpler query. Note that quick queries are not available from all windows in Abacus.

• If you need to apply a query that you have already used before, try selecting a most recently used query.
