Adding Matters

You can add matters from the Matter window or the Matters Browse window.

NOTE: You can associate an image with the matter if you like.

From the Matter window

  1. On the Matter window, select the Standard tab.

  2. Click Add. All fields are cleared and the Save and Cancel buttons appear.

  3. Complete the information for the matter. Click here for help completing the settings on the window.

  4. Click Save.

  5. If you want to add another matter, click Add and repeat the previous steps.

From the Matters Browse window

  1. On the Matters Browse window, click Add. The Adding a new Matter window appears.

  2. Complete the information for the matter. Click here for help completing the settings on the window.

  3. Click Save.

Through cloning

Use this method to add a similar matter.

Open the similar matter in the Matter window and click Clone or click the Matter Actions button () and click Clone this record. An exact duplicate of the current record is created. Now, you can just edit the new matter and save a little time and effort.
