Expert Query Options

For the Query Manager, you can click the horizontal scrollbar until the Query Expression column appears. This column shows the beginning of the internal programming-language query expression for those expert users who want to see the specific logic used in a query. If necessary, you can even edit the raw expression.

The Expert Query Mode is designed for experts to edit query expressions on a programming level. The Query Builder however, is capable of building quite complex queries. Therefore, this feature is recommended for experts only.

Once a query has been edited in Expert mode, it cannot be edited with the standard Query Builder and can only be edited in Expert mode.

To add/edit a query in Expert mode:

1. From the Query Manager, if you want to edit a query in Expert mode, highlight the query you want to edit and click Expert. If you want to add an expert query, it does not matter which query is highlighted.

2. The Select an Option window appears. Click Edit this Query to edit the highlighted query. Click Add a new Query to add a new expert query. The Query Expert Editor window appears.
   
   

3. Make the desired changes to the query and click Test to verify it is a logical expression.

4. Click Done to exit.
