Activating PayNow for Your Firm

When Abacus Payment Exchange (APX) is active for your firm, PayNow can also be activated.

1. Select File > Setup > Company Preferences.

2. The Company Preferences window appears. Select the Credit Card Setup tab.
   
   

3. In the PayNow section, check Include PayNow request with emailed invoice.

4. If you want to use Multi-Factor Authorization, check Require Multi-Factor Authorization (MFA). Change Phone to use for verification to the field that contains the name's mobile phone number (which is Cell unless you are using a different field for the cell number or a non-standard phone field configuration on your Name screens). The Phone to use for verification field selections map to the following fields in the Names database:

• Day Phone: DAYPHONE

• Eve Phone: EVEPHONE

• Fax: PHONE3

• Cell: PHONE4

5. Click Done to save your changes.
