Entering the client's email address for PayNow emails
The email address used to send the PayNow email is pulled from the Matter Maintenance window's Address tab in Abacus Accounting (not from the name record in AbacusLaw). Ensure that your client's email address is correctly entered here.
Entering the client's phone number for MFA verification texts
If Multi Factor Authorization (MFA) is activated, the client's cell phone number for the MFA verification text is pulled from the name record in AbacusLaw (not from the matter maintenance record in Abacus Accounting). Ensure that your client's cell phone number is correctly entered into one of these telephone number fields. Note that the Cell field is the usual field to use. When you activate PayNow with MFA, you will have the chance to define which field holds the cell phone number to use for verification texts.
